The center of the Destiny Matrix

The center is the sum of the four corners of the personal square. It points to the theme that runs through the whole chart: what comes naturally to you and what you keep coming back to.

The four corners are day, month, year and their sum. The center adds them all; if the result is above 22, its digits are added until it is 22 or less. Because of this arithmetic, arcana 1, 2, 15, 17, 19 and 21 never land in the center, while 3 to 13 are the most frequent.

    The Empress

The Empress at the center of the matrix makes care and creation the main pillar of character. You are most likely at ease where something grows: a family, a team, a garden, a business you can tend for years. You notice what others lack and often give it before they ask. Care for others here rests on your own state: it is the source everything else draws on, and when it runs dry, there is little left for the people close to you either.

    Temperance

Temperance in the center of the matrix makes balance the main theme of your life. You probably feel keenly when there is too much of something: work, people, noise.
